Darla McCann is the Director of Academic Support Services at Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Cambridge, Minnesota and has over twenty-nine years of experience supervising multi-discipline tutoring centers, at both the secondary and post-secondary level. Darla and her Academic Support Team achieved national recognition, for two-year colleges, in the category of "Enhancing Developmental Education," Diana Hacker Award 2006, followed by the "ATP Tutoring Program Award of Excellence" award in 2007-2008.  At a state level Darla serves on the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Tutoring Work Group. She is a member of NCLCA, CRLA, NADE, and ATP. The center that she supervises is level I and II certified. 

Darla is ATP Master Tutor Trainer Certified and has served on the ATP Certification Committee.   She has also created two modules for ATP online workshops: "Benchmarking with Best Practices" and "Understanding and Applying An Adult Learner’s Learning Style." 

Darla has a Master of Science in Education and is qualified to teach Reading, English, and Art.
